We do whatever it takes to help our clients maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life, wherever they call home. Our care plans and services are flexible and tailored to your or loved one's needs, and may fall under one or more of the following categories:

Homemaking & Companionship
Agape Care offers a relief for those who may just need some assistance with household chores and the comfort of knowing they have reliable transportation without having to call upon a family member. Families find a relief knowing that they have a reliable staff to enjoy being face to face for company, conversation and even playing games. Agape Care's Homemaking & Companionship Services can include the following:
- Companionship, conversation, and socialization
- Light housekeeping (linens, dusting, dishes, etc.)
- Transportation services to doctors, hair appointments, recreational activities, church, or shopping
- Meal planning and preparation
- Walking and exercise
- Hygiene assistance
- Home safety tips
- Appointment scheduling
- Playing games, making crafts, or putting puzzles together

Personal Care
Our personal care services are designed to offer a higher level of assistance with the activities of daily living. These services, added to Companionship services, provide our clients the continuum of care they need to remain safely in their own homes as their needs increase and change. Our services are tailored to your needs and schedule, offering compassionate care in any or all of these areas:
- Bathing
- Dressing
- Positioning
- Incontinence Care
- Medication Reminders
- Oral Hygiene
- Toileting
- Feeding
- Hospice Support
- Day Surgery Assistance
- Mobility Assistance

Intellectual Disabilities Care
Agape Care helps individuals with intellectual disabilities maximize their independence, reach individual goals and expand their roles in their communities. Through personalized one-on-one programs, our clients develop and expand their skills to improve independent living, while exploring their interests and enhancing their connections to their community. Based in each client’s home, our programs are a great alternative to traditional facility-based programs or adult training facilities, allowing greater flexibility in exploring the community and reaching personal goals. Our personalized, one-on-one programs emphasize skill development and participation in a variety of areas including:
- Meal Planning & Preparation
- Household Maintenance
- Money Management & Budgeting
- Social Interaction & Planned Activities*
- Community Projects, Associations & Groups*
These services are provided through the PA PFDS and Consolidated Waivers for individuals living with an Intellectual Disability. Support must be acquired with the assistance of the Lancaster County BHDS Office.

Alzheimer's and Dementia Care
We understand the needs of dementia patients and their families and offer services and resources that can help. Agape Care offers dementia care designed to help your loved one stay in the comfort of their home, helping them remain safe and independent for as long as possible. We provide a variety of in-home Alzheimer's and Dementia care services that can help family members take a much needed break, while ensuring their loved one's needs are being met. We can meet these needs with any necessary combination of Homemaking & Companionship or Personal Care listed above.
